Asian Resource Center (ARC)
In 1976, EBALDC acquired an underutilized warehouse in Oakland Chinatown from Lyon Storage and Moving Co. The newly renovated facility became the Asian Resource Center in 1984; a multi-service center to house social services and businesses. This 1924 built Terra Cotta building is home to various non-profit agencies, retail businesses, medical facilities, and an art gallery. The Asian Resource Center Art Gallery is located in the ground floor lobby and is open to the public as a purpose of highlighting local artists and to promote cross-cultural exchange through art, culture and educational projects.
