San Pablo Corridor Mini Grants

August 2014

East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) invites senior (55+) community members who live on or near the San Pablo Avenue Corridor to apply for mini grants up to $1,500. Our purpose is to benefit residents and evoke positive change on the San Pablo Avenue Corridor. To truly make an impact in our community, EBALDC and community leaders will work closely with grantees to ensure the success of projects funded.

Last year, we funded three applicants, Seniors On A Roadtrip (SOAR), which paid for seniors to go on field trips to East Bay Regional Parks; Access to Healthy Food, which launched a food distribution program at the San Pablo Hotel; and a Senior Multicultural Talent Share program at St Mary’s Center.

If interested in applying, applicants can attend a technical assistance workshop on August 7 from 2-3:30 PM or an open forum on Wednesday, August 20 from 2-4 PM at 1825 San Pablo Avenue, in EBALDC’s Board Room or contact Beverly Jackson at 510-209-1162 or bjackson@ebaldc.org for more information. Completed applications are due no later than 5 PM on August 29 and awardees will be notified by September 5. For more information, please review the grant application here.

The mini grants are provided by EBALDC with support provided by the Age-Friendly Communities Fund of the TIDES Foundation, with funding from Atlantic Philanthropies.
