David Peters was born and raised in the West Oakland community where he lives today. David believes that healthy communities exist at the intersection of racial justice, environmental justice, and economic justice and serves on the Board, and as an advisor to several local non-profits and community groups. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and has a broad background in multinational corporate auditing, accounting, tax and financial reporting developed over 25 years in finance leadership roles across a range of industries. David is a graduate of California State University, Hayward.
