EBALDC’s Resident Leaders attend Community Leadership Institute
Congratulations to members of EBALDC’s Resident Leadership team who participated in the NeighborWorks America Community Leadership Institute.
The annual Community Leadership Institute (CLI) is a training event that aims to strengthen the voices and skills of community, resident, and volunteer leaders from coast to coast.
The CLI provides a framework for learning and a forum for discussing community issues and the sharing of best practices and solutions to the challenges faced by underserved communities around the country. They also offer a broad choice and a rich range of quality workshops and learning labs. These help team members develop new skills and enhance their experience at the CLI. The annual CLI also enhances opportunities to collaborate with national partners.
This year’s CLI took place in San Francisco, CA where four members of our Resident Leadership Council (RLC) attended: Beverly Smith, Althie Wheaton, Diane McClendon and Jackie Hopkins accompanied by our Resident Services Coordinator Kendra Robertson and Senior Community Organizer Davíd Cota.
