Board Member
Kendra Edwards is a social worker with a focus on the intersectionality of social justice and environment. Over the past 15 years their work has centered on those most impacted by exploitation, homelessness, health disparities, and disconnection from resources. Their work has spanned direct client services, non-profit leadership, and program development and evaluation related to mental health, violence prevention, youth development, and climate justice. Currently their work is in integrating justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in global climate work.
Kendra’s vision is equity and social justice; it is a reimagining of systems where everyone has what they need to thrive. Kendra hopes to increase organizational capacities for achieving equity and social justice by promoting inclusion, strategic visioning, and accountability.
Kendra earned a Master of Social Welfare with concentration on Management & Planning from University of California, Berkeley.
