Sasha Werblin has over 15 years of experience advancing financial resources and economic opportunities for under-resourced communities. She directs LISC Bay Area’s Economic Development portfolio, supporting thriving neighborhoods and commercial corridors. Previously, she managed real estate and organizational development projects at Self-Help Federal Credit Union and served as the Economic Equity Director at the Greenlining Institute, advocating for greater investment in and protections for communities facing systemic inequities. Sasha serves on the board of the Oakland Community Land Trust. A proud Oakland native and graduate of Smith College and Mills College, she dreams of a world where love is abundant, siestas are standard, and prosperity knows no barriers. In her spare time, she can be found chasing her toddler all around Oakland.
