Shop Local and Enjoy the Weather as Oakland Small Business Week Continues!

May 2024

Oakland Small Business Week continues through May 3rd!  This gorgeous spring week, while the City of Oakland is supporting small businesses with in-person and virtual workshops (on topics like launching your small business website and a celebration reception for small businesses), don’t forget to get outside (and online) and shop at your local neighborhood businesses!

As the largest nonprofit commercial real estate landlord in the East Bay, EBALDC prioritizes BIPOC and women-owned community-serving small businesses to lease our commercial spaces. We are humbled by our commercial tenants’ passion for what they want to share with the community, and perseverance during these difficult times. And you should as well! Get outside to enjoy the weather, check out our retail, service, and restaurant offerings!
