VICE PRESIDENT OF RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT & ADVANCEMENT

Freda brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience, with a strong track record of growing revenue, building philanthropic partnerships, and advancing equity-centered organizations. She has held senior leadership roles with The Hidden Genius Project, Blueprint Schools Network, YWCA Berkeley/Oakland, and The Education Trust–West.

Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of racial equity, economic mobility, education, and community transformation, developing partnerships with individuals, foundations, corporations, boards, and public-sector partners across the East Bay and beyond.

At EBALDC, Freda will lead our Resource Development & Advancement strategy and team, strengthening and diversifying the resources and partnerships that support our mission and long-term sustainability.
